For almost 10 years I practiced medicine, but I had a desire to find a better balance. I had set out to do locum tenens out of residency, but hesitated. Part of it was life got in the way, but part was a lack of access to a reliable database of information about the process. Yes, I could just take the plunge and piece together the big questions on how locum tenens work, but lets be honest, we are doctors. We need to know the details, all of them, and we need perfection.
Our goal is your goal. To deep dive into the world of locum tenens, figure out the process and establish a reliable system to make a career out of practicing how and where we want. We live it, breathe it, and prove that we can master the system to benefit the doctors who make it run. From choosing a locums company and negotiating your agreement, to malpractice insurance, state licensing, taxes, and the day to day concerns at a new practice or hospital, we will help you find the answers.
